Maybe a paint that would always be the color of the sky, whether rain or shine. Maybe in a gloss, with reflective qualities. Or maybe just blue would be better, even in the rain. Remind us of the good yet to come.
Last night driving home with the sun setting through weird cloud formations (today, a storm is coming) a balloon carrying people lined up with the sun. A picture of serenity. I couldn't stop. The road wouldn't let me. Turning, twisting, speed, the only common ground with the balloon occupants being no parking. I had been to a place where two rivers meet the sea close to a port town. I had my camera at my side. I turned it on whilst time froze and shot through the windscreen capturing the moment in a limited way. Returning home, sitting at my home port, i downloaded and learned how to manipulate images. I cropped the shot, brightened it, increased contrast, tinted and saturated it. The sun got washed out but the sky became the colour i wanted it to be. Isn't it amazing for us who see that we have mutual grounds in the colour palette we are allowed access to. Though up north the eskimo sees 40 shades of snow and i would imagine our colours are shaped similarly by the enviroments we live in, the amount of sunlight we receive. Today with a storm on the way a phenomenal haze lies over the city turning the sky and everything sheet metal grey. I should like to be able to crop it with my eye, brighten it, add contrast, tint and saturate it, give it a new set of possibilities. I should like to take this potential to take the colours i put into the sky on other things such as statues. I do not believe that i have the power to change how i perceive colour. it is ingrained within me but i know this - churchill. cromwell, montgomery and the like wouldn't be so prepossessing has rainbowed drizzled artefacts. No stern exterior now with marshmallow sky shining on their war records.
today more than the picture, more than the instruction, i like the word verification. it makes me smile. I think in a different colour it would turn laugh out loud. Does anyone spend time thinking about the word verification?
When I count what's wrong with my life, I get totally depressed. When I count the good things, I feel like smiling and I do. Then I think, "well, it's not all that bad." Life is just a bowl of cherries. But when I see myself smiling in the mirror, I like myself more. Well, life is a roller-coaster. That's what I now think. Recently, I got a message that I was a king, and I should stop the battle, and appreciate my victory. Well, I should listen to this one. And you, too, my friend. We are all kings. The battle is the battle of goodness winning WORLD PEACE. At all times, find something that makes you laugh. Laughter is the best workout! Chimpanzees are wise to it. Are you?

Merge them all into one? Imagine all buildings and synthetic materials matching the environment...total camouflage!
