Check the following statements: True/False
l) All streets are invisible. The visible ones are fake ones, though
some visible ones are the end parts of the invisible ones.
2) If you wear something long enough it becomes part of you and you suffer from serious physical maladjustment when you take it off.
A woman died from taking off her ring she wore for ten years. A man was found to be non-existent when his title was taken away.
3) When you leave things, you leave your spirit behind as well. But if you don't leave them, you age.
4) Your brother is the man you killed in the past world. He was born in your family because he wanted to be near you.
5) There are one thousand suns rising every day. We only see one of them because of our fixation on monolithic thinking.
6) Grapefruit is a hybrid of lemon and orange.
Snow is a hybrid of wish and lament

Metaphorically speaking,
all hold a form of truth.
1) True
2) False
3) False
4) True
5) True
6a) ?
6b) True
In Spain we have a saying to explain why do we live life or perceive things in so many different and sometimes contradictory ways: “En este mundo traidor nada es verdad ni mentira, todo depende del color del cristal con que se mira”. A literal translation is “In this treacherous World, nothing is true or false, it all depends on the color of the glass you’re looking through” which means that it all depends on your point of view.
I imagine that there must be something similar in English, but I don’t know it.
So everything is True and False
It’s widespread common wisdom!
All of these True False thoughts are wonderful.
The one that had made me think a lot about it and that I find the most disturbing is:
Your brother is the man you killed in the past world. He was born in your family because he wanted to be near you.
My favorite one:
Snow is a hybrid of wish and lament
Thank you Yoko for remind us than everything is much more than it seems.
My children, classified in today's world as Typically Developing Children, are learning so much about risk taking and joy from their classmates with Downs Syndrome and Autism. The school is full of hugs and kindness; and a lot of laughter. This peace allows them to excellence in their academic subjects.
I pray we will find a kind soul to help us find a new home for this new way of schooling our children.

all most truly astonishingly true
1. True. A street is a concept, or a plan for getting somewhere -- what we see is a representation of the concept/plan.
2. True -- if you think you are a body, nothing more, then taking off a ring or losing your title can be like an amputation.
3. True. Giving is spiritual. Hording leads to decay.
4. True (could be). What goes around comes around, although I don't think this applies to every brother.
5. True. All stars are suns, and the sky is always full of them, day or night. Here, I take "seeing" to mean awareness. We don't think about the universe enough, just our little piece of it.
6. True (as metaphor). Everybody wants snow for Christmas. Then they want it to go away (unless they're skiers...).
Imagine that........
Oh, so many wonderful questions today, you could have spread them out to make the acorns last longer!
1. The streets are where they tell us to go. The real streets are probably more like roads. They are unpaved mostly and we have to find them ourselves, sometimes hacking our way through some tough stuff. Maybe all the ends of them come together.
2. I wear this body, it is not who I am. It weighs me down, like clothing or chains. I believe that something worn long enough can become a part of you, it does not have blood supply, but maybe it has soul supply. We all should remember though that none of these are permanant. Not our rings, titles or bodies. We will someday have to let them go.
3.I know I leave some of me where I go, or at least the emotions that I had. I hope it is true, if I hadn't left behind some of the painful memories I surely would be much older.
4. I surely hope that if there were past lives, I didn't kill anyone. I don't think it is even in me, I am too motherly. I am not sure if there is reincarnaion, but I hope not. I don't know if I would want to suffer it all over again. I believe in heaven, freedom from the wicked where I am me and only me.
5. True, we only can see what we can see, but funny that you write this today because I was thinking about the universe today and wondering what it is all about and how small we are. It is too much for most people's minds to wrap around.
6.Maybe. Like Jorge said, it is all in how you look at it. What color glasses you have on today.
God Bless You All Today.
Now that got me thinking
I think they all had some truth to them, not sure about five though still gotta think about that one eh
Thanks Yoko, very interesting stuff

I'm with Samm - they all hold truth.
I second Samm's post a well. #4 and #6 talk to me more though. Number 4 could be related to a job you do and that kills your soul day by day. A job which is against your values but that you sink in everyday. But the physical uneasiness is felt everyday. Number 6 for the snow hybrid. With all the snow we had here last winter, I can totally relate to you definition (and Michael's)!
Take care everyone
Have a beautiful day
Thanks Yoko.

Too much for me!
I looked at this yesterdya and I was so overwhelmed by the first one's imagery, I had to go for a walk.
You blow my mind!
1) Both my heart and my feet walk their own roads. Sometimes those roads intersect in "reality"; sometimes in "dream". Both of these states, and all of these roads, have meaning in the cycle of days that is life...
2) I grieve, oh how sinfully I grieve for all the "things" lost to me, my home not least of all. Is it a sin to cry for your lost book of poems, or daily life with your only son?
3) Leaving my things behind aged me. Don't let fine philosophy fool you until you have lived it...
4) The mother who raised me was the only evil witch in old Salem. Even she knew this...how I knew her I cannot recall. Was I a witch as well? It matters not, for I am now, though not a drop of evil runs in me...
5) There are some six billion suns, each real alone in the universe of the human who perceives it. If we could only learn to even SEE the same sun as another, we might just save the world.
6) What is a wish the hybrid of? And what of lament? All these emotions and concepts are atomic elements of one another, fused and bonded by experience, passion, and love...
1) True. All streets are invisible, and all highways are made of translucent syrup.
2) True, but we also become part of what we wear: the woman became part of the ring, the man part of his title.
3) True -- however, you can leave your spirit behind, but your spirit can never leave you behind.
4) True. My brother died 5 years ago. In a way, he killed me back, so now we're even.
5) True. There are a billion suns, but only a thousand rise every day. (Some only rise every full moon.)
6) True, but Grapefruit also is a book, and snow is part of a song title.
1:True.So true.all roads lead to nowhere and yet everywhere.
2.True :( but only if we want it to be.
3.True AND False. There are things we must leave, and yes we will leave part of us with them, good or bad parts.
But there are some things we should not not leave, that will keep us from aging. For example we should not leave child-like faith or imagination.
4.true in a way,we kill those around us every day, with hurtful words and hard feelings, and hopefully they come back to us with forgiveness for us,and we must do the same
5.I believe that to be False.
6.False,a grapefuit is itself no matter what made it.
Snow is wish and lament
water (tears) turned into magical whiteness (wish)
